We're proud of our strong academics and love the community our students, families, faculty, and staff share and act that love each week at Holy Mass. Mass is attended weekly by our students and faculty. We invite you to join us on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 8:00 AM.
Every student is encouraged to grow and strengthen their relationship with Christ, through time at Mass, adoration, Eucharistic Processions, and prayer services.
Morning Prayer
Community prayers begin and end each day at Our Lady. Prayers of all faith traditions bless the day and bring greater awareness of God’s presence to living that day.
Liturgical Ministries
Beginning in the first grade, students aid in the liturgical ministries of the weekly Mass. Students participate as gift bearers, greeters, and lectors.
Prayer Services & Programs
Throughout the course of the year, students participate in prayer services, Blessing of the Throats, Blessing of the Classrooms, Stations of the Cross, Shadow Stations, a Pet Blessing and many more.
Sacramental Preparation
The celebration of First Reconciliation occurs in December of the second grade. To prepare for the sacrament, our second graders begin their catechesis soon after school begins. Families are included in the child's preparation through parent meetings and evening sessions for the parents and children.
Preparation for First Holy Communion begins in the fall of the second grade for our students. Besides classroom catechesis, there are parent meetings, evening programs, and an all-day First Communion Retreat for the children, which parents are encouraged to attend. The celebration of First Holy Communion occurs in the Easter season.
Retreats
Retreats offer the chance to step outside of a normal routine and into intentional spiritual practices such as fellowship, prayer and reflection. Overnight retreats begin for our middle school students.
Student-Ministered Weekend Masses
Throughout the school year, we gather with our parish community to pray, celebrate our faith, and give thanks to God's continued presence in our lives at a weekend Mass. Students lead many of the liturgical ministries of the Mass including cantors, gift bearers, greeters, lectors, ushers and choir members.
Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered to students (grades 2-8) and all faculty during the Lenten season.
