Welcome to Early Childhood! Here at Our Lady, we strive to foster a love of learning in our littlest Crusaders! Our programs provide your child with the opportunity to learn, play and grow! We build a sense of belonging, celebrating each child for who they are. Check out why our Early Childhood Program is the place to be. 

Preschool (Age: 3 years old)

We know this may be your child's first introduction to school. We provide a play-based atmosphere while students practice basic content, social and emotional skills through dramatic play, fine motor skills through crafts and center activities, and gross motor skills with dance and movement songs!

PreKindergarten (Age: 4-5 years old)

While still incorporating a play-based atmosphere, our prekindergarten students focus on mastering more of the basic content needed to prepare for kindergarten. Students practice their knowledge of name/letter recognition, shapes, colors, and counting, all while building independence of their own learning. 

New Enhancements for the 2025-2026 School Year: 

• More One-on-One Time with Teachers – Teachers will have 6 hours a day (instead of 3) to connect with each child, getting to know their strengths, interests, and individual learning needs.
• Balanced Learning – Children will have more opportunities to engage in both academic learning and social-emotional development, setting the foundation for success in all areas.
• Focused Learning Sessions – With longer, uninterrupted periods of learning, children can focus deeply on each activity without rushing.
• Rest and Rejuvenation – Every child will have the opportunity for a rest/nap time during the day, helping them stay energized and ready to learn!
• Enriched Curriculum – We’ll be diving into STEM, creative projects, and special classes like art, music, library, and outdoor play, promoting curiosity and creativity.
• Field Trips & Hands-On Learning – Students will have more opportunities to experience the world outside the classroom, with field trips that enhance their learning.
• Much More – Our program is evolving with even more exciting features to ensure your child’s growth and success in these formative years!
